I was interviewed last week by Juliette Sellgren, a 17-year old in northern Virginia who asked good questions and showed that she already understood what a public good is. Her podcast is titled “Juliette’s Uncommon Knowledge.” She’s an impressive young lady and we had a nice talk after the interview about her college and career plans.

The interview is here.

I especially liked her first question, which she sent me a few hours before the interview so that I could think about it. I’m glad she did because my first response, if asked point blank, would have been that people her age (and people of any age, actually) need to understand the wonder of a free market price system. But thinking about it for a few hours led me to a very different answer.
